Q. Why are your lessons so cheap? Are they of good quality?
A. Yes they are of very high quality and can be extremely beneficial to a beginning or intermediate player. The reason for the highly affordable price is because our coaches want to give back to the Lacrosse community by creating better skilled players who are in love with the game.
Q. Your coaches are only in High School how can I trust them to act appropriately around my son?
A. Professionalism is our absolute highest priority. Each of our coaches is an ethical, respectful, and safe person who operates by a strict ethical and moral code and would in no way become a negative influence on your son.
Q. Are your coaches qualified?
A. YES. We may be young but we have already started giving back to the game between the coaches we have over 25 years of experience, significant portions of this time were spent playing with elite teams that strained our abilities and turned us into skilled players. As the founder of C.L.S. I ensured that the coaches I asked to join me were highly skilled and have proven themselves able of teaching and conducting themselves in an appropriate and progressive manner.
Q. What should my son bring to his lesson(s)?
A. This depends on the type of lesson. For most lessons full pads (helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, and elbow pads), a mouth piece, cup, and stick will be required. If you request that your son does not suit up into full pads only a stick will be required.
Q. How many lessons should my son take?
A. This depends on how much your son would like to improve his game. Weekly lessons would be ideal because it would allow your son adequate time between lessons to self practice the techniques and moves we show him. It also depends on your satisfaction as a parent, we will certainly show your son many different skills in his lesson but if you are not satisfied with the quality of the lesson their is no pressure to schedule another lesson.
Q. Do you tutor Women's lacrosse?
A. At this time we regret to say that we are a Men's Lacrosse tutoring group only. If adequate demand for a female coach is requested we may be able to hire a coach specifically for Women's Lacrosse.
Q. My son is new to the sport and does not have any gear? Can you reccommend a store that carries the gear he needs?
A. Sling it Lacrosse is the best shop in the bay area for for your lacrosse specific needs. They will carry everything you need and their employees are insightful and will not try to make you overpay for any goods.
Q. My son has his stick but it needs to be strunf? Now what?
A. If you have a stringing kit you can give the head to our stick guru Will. He will talk to your son and find out how he likes his stick and string it quickly and proffesionally, all at a price that is half of others. If the stick is strung in correlation with a lesson package it will be free.
